Most students wait by the inbox. Ours go find the signal.
A mentoring cohort for college students who want internships at real organisations, built around one method: direct outreach, sent to the right person, before an opening gets crowded.
SCANNING FOR OPENINGS
The portal doesn't reply. People do.
Careers portals aren't built to notice you, they're built to file you. The cohort exists to replace that queue with a direct line to whoever is actually hiring.
- 1
An opening goes live and draws hundreds of applicants within hours.
- 2
Your application joins that pile, sorted by an applicant tracking system.
- 3
Most resumes are filtered out before a person ever opens them.
- 4
You wait. For most applicants, that's the last they hear of it.
- 1
A radar alert flags the opening within hours of it going live.
- 2
You send a short, personalised message straight to the hiring team.
- 3
A reply, often a call, usually lands inside the week.
- 4
Interview prep turns that call into an offer.
What's inside the cohort
Six pieces, all built around one habit: reaching out before someone else does.
Outreach playbook
Scripts, subject lines, and a target-list framework you can reuse for every internship, on email or LinkedIn.
The radar
A live feed of new internship openings, pushed to WhatsApp before they're flooded with applicants.
Resume rebuild
A one-on-one pass on your resume and LinkedIn, so recruiters stop scrolling past it in three seconds.
Interview drills
Mock interviews modelled on real rounds at consulting, fintech, and research organisations.
Weekly mentor calls
Direct check-ins to review your outreach, fix what isn't landing, and keep your pipeline moving.
Cohort community
A peer group of students running the same playbook, trading leads and holding each other accountable.
Where cohort outreach has landed
A running list of organisations our mentees have interned or interviewed with since the method was first tested, a pattern, not a promise.
When the outreach method behind this cohort was first tested, one cold email at a time.
Organisations currently on the cohort's placement and interview list.
Mentor check-in calls for every student, for as long as they're in the cohort.
Outcomes reflect individual cohort members' own outreach and interviews. They vary by effort, timing, and the roles available, and aren't guaranteed.

Onboarding
Map your target companies, rebuild your resume, and get the outreach templates you'll send from day one.
Outreach launch
Start sending daily, with a mentor reviewing your drafts before anything goes out.
Radar & calls
New openings land on WhatsApp as they're posted; a weekly call keeps your outreach on track.
Interview prep
Mock rounds and follow-up scripts, built around the specific interview you actually have coming up.
Led by someone who ran this playbook first
Deepjot is a Delhi University student who sent her first cold outreach message in April 2025, with no reply, no reference, and no tier-one college name to lean on. What followed was a year of testing subject lines, target lists, and follow-up timing, work that turned into internships and interview calls at organisations including Sattva Consulting, Paytm, Tata 1mg, and FICCI. She now runs the Summer Internship Cohort to hand that process to the next batch of students, one outreach draft at a time.
Before you apply
Yes, most cohort members join with nothing on their resume yet. The method doesn't depend on experience or seniority, it depends on how you reach out.
No. The playbook is built specifically for students without a tier-one name on their resume, it runs on outreach, not brand.
Almost never. Most organisations hire off-campus interns on a rolling basis, so the earlier you start the earlier you're in front of them, but a late start still works.
Portals put you in a queue with everyone else. The cohort teaches you to skip that queue by reaching the hiring team directly, and flags new openings before they're crowded.
The outreach playbook and templates, radar alerts on WhatsApp, a resume and LinkedIn rebuild, weekly mentor calls, mock interviews once replies start coming in, and a cohort of peers running the same process.
